The talk describes the implementation of International Domain Name (IDN) in the Windows platform library and in Internet Explorer IE7. It also shows how security concerns about spoofing and phishing are addressed, using mitigation strategies inspired from the Unicode Technical Report TR36 (Unicode Security Considerations) and Technical Standard TS 39 (Unicode Security Mechanisms).
